Chelsea have taken to social media to deliver a positive update on Armando Broja's recovery from injury.
The 21-year-old has been out of action for the Blues since December after he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in a friendly against Aston Villa.
Broja required surgery on his knee, with Chelsea saying that he is not likely to feature for the rest of the season.
Although he may not be able to return to action until the new campaign, the Albanian is already on the road to recovery.
In a video on Chelsea's Twitter, Broja can be seen in the gym at their Cobham training ground going through some light exercises.
Despite the severity of the injury, the forward has certainly not lost his mobility as he ran through cones with ease.
Broja was also testing the strength of his legs on gym equipment, as well as with sprints over what appears to be a crash mat.
He was seen with the ball back at his feet too, with the Albanian international full of energy as he sets his sights on a return to full fitness.
Broja is in his first full season as a senior Chelsea player after spending previous campaigns on loan at Vitesse and Southampton.
He was speculated to be leaving the Blues permanently last summer amid interest from West Ham, but he remained at his boyhood club.
Prior to injury, Broja featured in 18 games across all competitions and scored his first goal for the club in their 3-0 win over Wolves.
His last competitive appearance was in their 1-0 defeat to Newcastle before the break for the World Cup, with the injury coming just under a month later.
It remains to be seen how quickly he returns to form once he's back on the pitch, but the youngster certainly has a bright future ahead of him.
