Helen Hope is a professional dancer who writes for various national publications about health, fitness, nutrition, and dance. She was previously an assistant editor for Dance Spirit magazine. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College with a minor in dance. Helen also teaches dance around New York City to young people and is an ABT-certified teacher. She has trained at Virginia Ballet Theatre, Todd Rosenlib Dance, Ballet Chicago, and K-Classic Ballet Studio in Kyoto, Japan. She is also an alumna of the Virginia Governer’s School for the Arts musical theatre department, the Rockettes Summer Intensive, and Interlochen Center for the Arts.
