Jay Cutler enjoyed a dominant run at the top that saw him become one of the most popular stars in bodybuilding. In a recent video uploaded to YouTube, Cutler shared a jacked physique update as part of his ‘Fit for 50’ transformation challenge.
Jay Cutler first rose to prominence for his mass and size in the late 90s and early 2000s. During his two-decade-long career, Cutler racked up three Arnold Classic titles and became a four-time Mr. Olympia champion. He had established his place in title contention before securing his maiden Sandow trophy.
During his career, he developed an intense rivalry with eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman, falling short of him until he finally managed to knock him off the throne at the 2006 Mr. Olympia. Their rivalry is widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time.
Cutler is one of the few bodybuilders to have maintained a high level of fitness in his later years. Although he moved on from professional competition a decade ago, Cutler has not lost his passion for working out. He embarked on a mission to transform his physique for a ’Fit for 50’ challenge last October. He opened up on his use of TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) and dismissed the idea of using other substances like trenbolone.
Last month, Cutler talked about his physique ambitions for 2023. He offered expertise on the steroid cycles he used as a competitor and laid out his diet and training preferences.
The 49-year-old is known for his vast wealth of bodybuilding knowledge. He gave fans a look into how he built a barn door back with the use of t-bar rows as of late. He said they helped thicken his frame from front to back. He highlighted the importance of body positioning to get the best results. Then, Jay followed that up by sharing his guidelines for rest time and recovery to achieve muscle growth.
A few days later, Jay Cutler showed off his gigantic arms while performing a taxing bicep and forearms workout routine. His impact goes beyond the bodybuilding realm. He partnered with former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall for a grueling high-volume back workout earlier this month.
In a recent YouTube video, Jay Cutler shared an impressive physique update showing off his insanely shredded package for the ‘Fit for 50’ challenge. He’s shut down a return to a competition stage, but updates like these will no doubt push fans to ask about his retirement status.
Jay Cutler gave fans a look into a brutal training routine he utilized to build a Herculean chest last week. He kicked things off with some calf exercises before targeting the upper body.

Cutler had previously dismissed the idea of making a comeback for the return of the Masters Olympia later this year. Going by the latest update, only time will tell if he changes his mind about competing again.
