OPVS Fitness is opening a second location on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. An MAGNVM OPVS Fitness is coming to the former Eat Well Restaurant space at 8250 Santa Monica Blvd, on the southeast corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and N Harper Avenue.
Constructions workers onsite confirmed a gym was coming to the space, but would not reveal the name. A Google search points to OPVS Fitness which currently has renderings of new up and coming fitness studio on their website.An ANNEX OPVS Fitness currently stands at 8969 Santa Monica Blvd., located on the 2nd Floor above Pavillions grocery store.
OPVS boasts exclusivity with limited spaces available to their members. They intentionally cap their memberships to offer a more personal and less crowded experience. They offer a towel service, concierge personal training manager, personalized lockers, complimentary fitness evaluation & training program, complimentary training session, complimentary nutritional consultation and diet plan, and BodyFat Scan.
CEO and founder Joel Zaldivar began an Equinox as a Fitness Coach, turned Fitness Manager, turned Personal Training Manager in West Hollywood where he led a staff of 73 coaches.
In September 2021, he separated from Equinox and with the help of business partners, he introduced the City of West Hollywood with OPVS Fitness.

The Eat Well space has been empty since the restaurant closed in late 2015, or early 2016. The restaurant was popular with local residents where many left their personal stamp by creating works of art on the white paper table coverings. The restaurant provided pencils and crayons to patrons could doodle while they waited for their meal.According to a source, the new OPVS Fitness is slated to open in West Hollywood in the spring of 2023, roughly around the same time that a John Reed is slated to open at the former 24-Hour Fitness Space and a Golds Gym is slated to open at The Beverly Center.
